Grandbed

I had been having a big drought in sales, so yesterday before work I really prayed earnestly that God would bless me with big sales.  At work as my stretch goal I put that I wanted to sell a Grandbed (kind of kidding).

Well no more than 30 minutes later a guy came in-kind of gruff and not seeming to like me to much.  Asking about Tempur and firm.  Showed him the Grandbed, 20 minutes later he bought it nonchalantly!!!  It was so weird b/c I totally didn't sell him on it and he sort of bought it on a whim.  ABSOLUTELY God!!!

Mothers Day

I prayed and asked God to show me what to get mom for mothers day.  I asked a few people at church for their suggestions, and Jessica said go to Barnes and Nobles.  I thought that was strange and wasn't planning on doing it.

I was on my way to Perimeter mall to find her a gift and was listening to some sermons.  I got really caught up in them so I parked to listen better.  I realized I was right in front of Barnes and Nobles (the sermon was on hearing God speak) and I felt he was saying go in!

I went in and asked him what to get her.  Immediately I had the thought to get her a Nook (the nook stand was right in front of the entrance).  I brushed away the thought...spent about 20 minutes walking around.  Was really unsure what to get her.  I sat down in a chair and prayed God would make it clear.

The loudspeaker came up saying there was a mothers day special on the Nookbook!

I went over to look at them...unsure if it was God or just coincidence.  The guy was telling me all about it.  I bought it (still unsure about the decision).

When I got to moms she was FLOORED and surprised that I got a Nook!  She said she was JUST telling Derek how she wanted one!!!!

This confirmed that I heard from God!  I feel really blessed that he spoke to me!

The Dove

I decided to start blogging about any and all supernatural experiences I have with God.  The purpose of this blog is so I can always look back and see how God is always with me; is always speaking to me; and that I can trust in the name of Jesus for all my needs.

I never want to experience a revelation, answer to prayer, or a miracle from God just to turn around and forget it.

My prayer for this blog is that I will be disciplined and diligent with keeping it updated.  Its really for my own personal reflection, but if you stumbled upon it I hope it blesses you!
